Article: WILLIAMSON COUNTY SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT NABBED AFTER 12 YEARS ON THE RUN

The U.S. Department of Justice's U.S. Marshals Service issued the following press release: Keith Thomas Carreker, 53 of Bokoshe, Oklahoma was arrested by the Eastern Oklahoma Fugitive Task Force, without incident this afternoon after it was determined through local investigation conducted by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force that Carreker had fled from Williamson County in 1996 after he was indicted for sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child by contact.

Carreker was indicted in February of 1996 in the 277th Judicial District Court of Williamson County, Texas. It is alleged in the indictment in November of 1995, that Carreker sexually assaulted a child in Georgetown, Texas. ...
