The Tennessee Department of Revenue issued the following news release:
The Tennessee Department of Revenue will hold its next free bimonthly new business workshop on May 14, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the department's Chattanooga regional office, located at 540 McCallie Ave. The workshop will be held in conference room 607.
This free workshop is designed to assist those encountering business-related taxes for the first time. Tax specialists from various local and state agencies will provide the basic information needed to comply with registration and tax requirements.
