Article: Food safety at Beijing Olympics to be top priority

New Delhi, April 19 -- Food suppliers contracted for the forthcoming Olympic Games in Beijing have been asked to tighten their management procedures to ensure that their products are not sabotaged before or during the Games.

China's top quality control official, Li Changjiang, (Director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine - AQSIQ), was quoted by the China Daily as saying that the firms should also keep video records of their monitoring procedures for use in the event of any tampering.
