ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 24 -- Paolo Da Pont of Turin, Italy, has developed a washing machine safety valve device.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The solenoid valve device comprises a duct with an inlet and an outlet and in which are formed first and second valve seats in series with one another, each between a respective inlet chamber and an associated outlet duct, and a first and second interception solenoid valve device associated with the first and second valve seat respectively, and each comprising a respective movable shutter cooperating with one of the seats in the associated inlet chamber.
