The government of Ethiopia issued the following news release:

Ambassadors of two countries to Ethiopia said the effort Ethiopia is making to ensure peace and stability in the Horn of Africa region is remarkable.

Ambassador of China to Ethiopia and Ambassador of Burundi to Ethiopia took leave of President Girma Woldegiorgis here on Wednesday.

Taking their leave at the national palace, the departing ambassadors underlined that Ethiopia is playing notable role in the efforts launched to prevent conflicts as well as in peacekeeping missions in the African continent, particularly in the Great Lakes region.
