Article: Days of '47 celebration involves months of activities that pack an economic punch

The annual Days of '47 Pioneer Celebration is a hallmark of Utah summers, with out-of-town visitors and locals alike enjoying months' worth of community activities culminating in the observance of July 24, a statewide holiday commemorating the arrival of the first pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley. With parades, rodeos, picnics and other events throughout the Beehive State, the Days of '47 also pack an economic punch that just keeps growing.
