Article: French Inventors Develop Steel Part Fabrication Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 28 -- Pierre Dierickx of Thionville, France, and Gaelle Andre of Montigny les Metz, France, have developed a method of fabricating a steel part.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to metallurgy, and more precisely it relates to the field of steels for use in fabricating parts that are to withstand high levels of stress."

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,354,487 on April 8.

The patent has been assigned to Ascometal, Courbevoie, France.
