Friday, May 2

The fifth annual Deseret Chamber Music Series will open with a performance by the Deseret Piano Trio at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center. Faculty artists Monte Belknap, violin; Julie Bevan, cello; and Jeffrey Shumway, piano, will perform the Trio in D Minor, op. 120 by Gabriel Fauré and the Trio in B-flat Major, op. 97, "Archduke" by Ludwig van Beethoven. Admission is free.

Friday, May 9

BYU School of Music faculty artist Marilyn Smith will perform a vocal recital at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.
