Shopping for Soldiers will host an event celebrating Silver Star Families Day, the day of respect for our wounded servicemen and women, on Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Veterans Park, 802 NE 1st Street and Atlantic Plaza, 777 E Atlantic Avenue, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Good food and great entertainment will delight visitors as vendors impress crowds with an assortment of products. Veterans will be honored in a ceremony that will recognize their military service ...
