Article: VETERANS' AFFAIRS COMMITTEE APPROVES BENEFIT AND HEALTH LEGISLATION

Republicans on the House Veterans' Affairs Committee issued the following news release:

The Committee on Veterans' Affairs held a mark-up today on fourteen veterans' benefit and health bills.

The following bills were approved by voice vote and ordered favorably to the House:

* H.R. 2790, as amended, introduced by Committee Member Phil Hare (D-Ill.), to amend title 38, United States Code, to establish the position of Director of Physician Assistant Services within the office of the Under Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Health.
