Rep. Nick Joe Rahall, D-W.Va. (3rd CD), issued the following news release:
Senators Jay Rockefeller and Robert C. Byrd and Congressman Nick Rahall announced today that Logan County Airport will receive $1,900,000 in federal funding through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). These grants will enable the airport to rehabilitate existing runways while improving airport safety.
"Airports are essentially the backbone of every local economy," said Rockefeller, Chairman of the Senate Aviation Subcommittee.
