Change seemingly occurs at great speed these days. Looking back at the recent NANDA/ NIC/NOC Alliance meeting in Chicago, it might seem so very much is happening that it is hard to keep track. In fact, the changes that are occurring, while big, are actually the logical outcome of many years of work and planning.

I came home from the meeting energized and excited about the direction NANDA is taking. Although small in size, we are large in accomplishments. The inroads that we have made in connecting to international efforts to classify and computerize healthcare data are substantial and ongoing.
