The University of Wisconsin-Stout issued the following news release:

University of Wisconsin-Stout graduate Desiree Nardini Scholl is an example of how the university's applied science major is a pre-professional program for the dental, medical, physical therapy, pharmacy, optometry, chiropractic and veterinary professions.

Scholl, who graduated from UW-Stout in 2004, will complete her studies in podiatric medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Podiatric Medicine in June. Her next challenge is a three-year surgical residency in podiatry.
