The city of Tualatin issued the following news release:
On Thursday, April 24, 2008, the Tualatin Police Department partnered with the Tualatin Claim Jumper Restaurant, 18000 SW Lower Boones Ferry Road, in a "Tip-A-Cop" event for Special Olympics Oregon. Claim Jumper Manager Dave Mousaw and Tualatin Police Chief Kent Barker oversaw an expert crew of servers and their less-than-stellar police officer apprentices as they served patrons from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. When all was said and done, the Claim Jumpers staff and Tualatin Police raised $3,677.91 to help support Special Olympics in Oregon.
Claim Jumper Tip-A-Cop night is a part of the National Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. ...
