WASHINGTON, May 5 -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, has introduced the Infant Immunization Improvement Act of 2008 (S. 2911), legislation that would "improve vaccination rates among children."

The bill, introduced on April 24, was co-sponsored by Sen. Patty Murray, D-Washington. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
