The city of Cedar Rapids issued the following news release:
The Cedar Rapids Police Department will be presenting the THINK Program at Kennedy High School this week, May 5-9, 2008. The goal is to support both the importance of academics as well as traffic safety. To accomplish this, the THINK Program combines lecture, interactive discussions, video presentations and hands on investigations for physics students. During the program, students engage in the reconstruction of a mock car crash. By doing this, students will recognize the need practicality and importance of their science and mathematics education as well as the importance of constructive ...
