Article: Sen. Reid Introduces Bill Concerning Suspension of Highway Fuel Tax

WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nevada, has introduced a bill (S. 2971) to "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide for a suspension of the highway fuel tax."

The bill, introduced on May 2, was co-sponsored by Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
