London, May 8 -- Prince William is all set to fight a cocaine war in the Caribbean, it has emerged.

The young British royal will be joining Royal Navy vessels patrolling the Caribbean in search of South American drug cartels.

Both Clarence House and Armed Forces chiefs want the 25-year-old Prince, who will soon complete his four-month stint with the RAF, to gain experience as an officer in all three services.

"Everyone agrees he needs operational experience and to feel he is playing a vital role," the Mirror quoted a senior military source, as saying.
