Mumbai, May 9 -- On a recent visit to Punjab for a concert, music composer Pritam Chakraborty was taken aback to see posters calling him 'Pritam Singh'.

"It was a huge culture shock. There were posters of me all over with my sinister bearded face and the name 'Pritam Singh'," Pritam told IANS.

"When I asked why I was being changed from a pure Bengali to a Punjabi, I was told it had to do with my bhangra song 'Mauja hi mauja' in 'Jab We Met'. They argued that anyone who could compose such a hardcore Punjabi song had to be a Punjabi," he added.
