The office of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., issued the following news release:

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton welcomed an announcement from the Postmaster General that the U.S. Postal Service has reissued the Purple Heart stamp at the new First-Class Mail price of 42 cents.

"The Postal Service has again honored the servicemembers and veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart for their extraordinary sacrifices in defense of democracy and freedom.
