Charlotte Harbor & the Gulf Islands joins hundreds of cities, states and businesses nationwide May 10 - 18, 2008 to salute travel and tourism in America as part of the 25th Annual National Tourism Week. The Charlotte Harbor & the Gulf Islands Visitors Bureau will recognize the importance of this industry to Charlotte County on Friday, May 16, 2008 with their 7th ANNUAL TOURISM UNITY AWARDS LUNCHEON, a special event honoring the county's travel and tourism leaders and innovators and major industry achievements.
