Now that all the great problems in jazz research seem to have been solved, one is called to throw some light upon the lesser important ones. This is not only fun but, when you really get into it, no less important. So my investigation here deals with a sadly short-lived band lead by Vido Musso in 1947.

We certainly know Vido Musso's tactile tenor, a sound you could almost taste, by his time with Benny Goodman, Harry James, Gene Krupa, Woody Herman, and Stan Kenton.
