Rhode Island State Police issued the following news release:
1. At 8:00 am Troopers arrested Oscar Alberto Villanueva Perez, age 20, of 115 Washington Avenue Chelsea, Mass. for 1.) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) warrant for failure to appear for deportation. Perez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks processed and turned over to Wyatt Detention Center.
2. At 1:49 pm Troopers arrested Wilfred Crossen, age 43, of 348 Nooseneck Hill Road Exeter, RI for 1.) Domestic Simple Assault. Arrest was the result of a complaint lodged at the Barracks and subsequent investigation by Trooper Fleming. Crossen was located at home where he was taken into custody.
