The city of Oceanside issued the following news release:
Liz Palika, author of over 50 books and 1,000 articles on pets, will be sharing her secrets for animal obedience and care in an Oceanside Public Library program for all ages on Friday, June 13, at 5:30 p.m., in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms, 330 North Coast Highway. Liz has been teaching dogs and their owners in North San Diego County for almost 25 years, and founded the "Love on a Leash" therapy dog program, which reaches out to patients at hospitals and residents of retirement centers, as well as providing dogs for the Oceanside Public Library's "Paws to Read" program.
