The Virginia State Police issued the following news release:
Virginia State Police from across the Commonwealth will gather Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in Richmond to pay tribute to Virginia's law enforcement professionals who so valiantly gave their lives to the service and protection of others. Among those to be honored is Virginia State Police Motorist Assistance Aide Horace A. Jarratt, 66, of Colonial Heights, who was killed April 25, 2007, on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield County.
The ceremony will include the unveiling and dedication of a portrait of Motorist Assistance Aide (M.A.) Horace Jarratt. His portrait will be hung among 54 other revered men and women of the Virginia State Police ...
