ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 23 -- Jan Von Steuben, Michael Mueller and Alfred Klauer, all from Goettingen, Germany, have developed an electronic scale.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "scale having an electronic weighing system to generate a weight-dependent signal and a digital signal processing unit. The digital signal processing unit has a circuit or program parts which measure the time elapsed since connection of the voltage to the scale.
