The U.S. Navy issued the following press release:

Sailors aboard USS Emory S. Land (AS 39)(ESL), registered with the Department of Defense Bone Marrow Program on May 20 and 21.
These Sailors are potential donors that may save lives if they are found to be a match in the future.
"It's really a very simple process," said Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Aleah MacDonald, who is stationed aboard ESL, "all you have to do is fill out a little paperwork, which takes maybe five minutes, and use sterile swabs on the inside of your mouth to collect a sample."
