Article: Oregon Dems: Oregonians Protest John McCain's 100 Year Plan For Iraq

The Oregon Democratic Party issued the following news release:

No to John McCain's 100 year plan for Iraq.

That's what 30 Oregonians, led by retired Army Major and Oregon Super Delegate Frank Dixon, said today as they protested outside the Republican presidential candidate's fundraiser at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel.

"We're here today because John McCain said he wants to keep our troops in Iraq for another 100 years," Dixon said. "We're here today because 4,000 American troops gave their lives in Iraq. We're here because hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent making war instead of investing in health care, on education, on our country's future."
