Article: MARYLAND PUBLIC TELEVISION CELEBRATES 11 EMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS

The Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission issued the following news release:

Maryland Public Television (MPT) is celebrating 11 Emmy Award nominations-more than any other public television station in the Maryland/DC area-for 2007 from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).

John Davis, creator and host of MPT's longtime national automotive program MotorWeek, will receive NATAS' prestigious Board of Governors Award, which recognizes achievements by individuals, organizations or companies in public television, community service or other worthwhile endeavors within the National Capital Chesapeake Bay's region.
