This Memorial Day weekend, our nation will honor the heroes who have died in service to our country. Commissioners are encouraging residents to observe Memorial Day by spending time with loved ones, visiting a veteran's grave and exploring the family-friendly, affordable activities available right here in Franklin County.

Instead of loading up the van to head across the state, or even the country, try heading across town to catch a game or take the kids to COSI or the Zoo. With the rising cost of gas and tough economic times many residents are opting to stay in Franklin County for the Memorial Day weekend. Commissioners are urging ...
