Armed with more than 30 years experience making clutches for current clientele such as Brad Anderson, Duane Shields, Tom Conway, Jack Harris, Doug Gordon, and Brandon Johnson, Bob Molinari is a recognized clutch authority and a familiar face in the pits at NHRA events.
A native of San Diego, Molinari began hot redding with a '67 Chevelle in the Imperial Beach area and at Carlsbad Raceway in the late 1960s. He spent a year at a local junior college before he took a job in 1969 at Grower Cams & Equipment Company, where he would work for the next 36 years. He began in general machining before getting an opportunity to advance by moving into the company's clutch division.
