I suppose as a new contributor to American Fastener Journal, a little introduction is in order. My name is Bill Chart and I am a litigation associate with the law firm of Erwin and Associates in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to being an attorney, I have over twenty years of experience in the fastener industry. In the issues to come I'll touch on a variety of topics including everyone's favorite subject, the Fastener Quality Act. My intention for this column is just to provide a forum to discuss various legal issues as they apply to the fastener world rather than give specific legal advice.
