Japanese Inventors Develop Gas Analyzer Apparatus

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- Tomohisa Nakashima, Naoki Tsukamoto and Motoki Ito, and Yukichika Ito, all form Inuyama, Japan, have developed a flue gas analyzer apparatus.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A gas analyzer apparatus including a support tube having a distal portion arranged in a flue and a gas sensor supported on the support tube. An air supply tube supplies cooling air into the support tube. A basal portion of the gas sensor is cooled by the cooling air."

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,370,512 on May 13.

The patent has been assigned to Energy Support Corp., Aichi-ken, Japan.
