Today most of the world's six billion people are between the ages of 15-24, of which 86 per cent live in less-developed countries; it is the largest group ever to enter adulthood on both sides of the development sphere. Engaging youth in the achievement of the MDGs is essential, as it can only prove productive to enlist stakeholders on a positive mission. In this article, Geoff reviews each of the MDGs from his own perspective, experiences and reflections, and subsequently urges current leaders to realize that collaboration with the youth is the only way toward successfully achieving the MDGs.
