Hepatitis B virus (HBV) genotypes differ due to geographic parameters, and recently the clinical importance of HBV genotypes in their Pathogenesis has been discussed. HBV genotypes indicate their transmission route, geographical distribution, and the destination of immigrants infected with HBV.
