The city of Reno issued the following news release:

More Reno residents than ever before came out to help with the City's priority of emphasizing the GREEN in "Reno Clean and Green."

The final numbers for the 2008 Spring Reno Clean and Green program confirm that it was the most successful Clean and Green. Reno residents turned out in droves to recycle, clean up their neighborhoods, dispose of household trash and debris, and stencil storm drains. In addition, over 400 residents from the community came out to volunteer and better their neighborhoods.

Waste Management removed more than 7,600 total yards of trash from Reno neighborhoods, Clean Harbors Environmental received over 20,440 pounds ...
