Article: ANIMAL CONTROL OFFERS FREE PET VACCINATIONS ON JULY 5

Bay County issued the following news release:

In an effort to improve the health of animals throughout the area and help save Bay County residents money, Bay County Animal Control is offering free pet vaccinations on Saturday, July 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Animal Control Facility.

The vaccines are on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be available to inoculate up to 1,000 dogs and 1,000 cats from rabies, canine and feline distemper and parvo.

"With the economy the way it is, I think it's a real positive thing that we're going to do," said Bay County Animal Control Director Jim Crosby. "And, this effort will help jumpstart good health for Bay County's animals."
