Rep. Tom Latham, R-Iowa (4th CD), issued the following news release:

Iowa Congressman met with Ed Friedmann, PA, of Redfield, who was in Washington with the National Rural Health Association. Congressman Latham and Mr. Friedmann discussed how to improve payments to rural health clinics and making sure that rural interests are represented on the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission.

"Rural health care in Iowa is highly important," said Congressman Latham. "The issues faced by rural health care providers can often be more difficult than in urban areas.
