The Minnesota Democratic Party issued the following news release:
This morning on The Today Show, in reply to a question about whether he could give a good estimate of when our troops in Iraq might come home, Senator John McCain replied, "No, but that's not too important. What's important is the casualties in Iraq." State DFL Chair Brian Melendez released this statement:
"Senator McCain admitted this morning that he and the Republican Party aren't interested in bringing our troops home, but would rather continue a disastrous and mishandled war with no end in sight. Does Senator Norm Coleman agree with Senator McCain that bringing our servicemembers home from Iraq is 'not important'? ...
