'BREAK THE SILENCE' RALLY AIMS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF ELDER ABUSE

The Arizona Attorney General's office issued the following news release:

The Statewide Elder Abuse Coalition will host a statewide Break the Silence rally on Friday, June 13, beginning at 9 a.m. The event is an effort to raise awareness of elder abuse.

As part of the day's events, the Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (MEAPA) will unveil the new I WILL campaign to prevent elder abuse. The campaign asks Arizonans to sign a pledge to prevent and report elder abuse. The I WILL challenge and pledge are available on the Attorney General's Office Web site at www.azag.gov.
