To the Editor.-We read with great interest the protocols for the examination of specimens from patients with neuroblastoma and related neuroblastic tumors by Qualman et al.1 The authors suggested that pathologists follow the presented protocols when writing pathology reports on neuroblastoma and related neuroblastic tumors. The article introduces various essential elements of protocols, such as background documentation, explanatory notes, differential diagnosis, and a neuroblastoma staging system.
