Political consensus will be reached over Indo-US deal, says Kamal Nath

Washington, June 13 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath, who is on US visit, expressed hope that at some point of time a political consensus would be reached over the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal. "We are trying to arrive at a broad political consensus and that is what we have done," Nath said while participating in a talk show on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary celebrations of the United States India Business Council (USIBC).

Kamal Nath further said that it is not only an energy issue, but also a great tribute to India's outstanding record in management of nuclear capability.
