ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- John A. DeBella of Clearwater, Fla., Konstantin Ivanov of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Hung Van Tu of Kenneth City, Fla., have developed a method for protecting digital video recorder.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The method and apparatus includes an uninterruptible power supply along with its rechargeable battery and a plurality of video protection circuits all within a common chassis.
