The Rev. Dr. Yvonne Delk, a prophetic leader in the United Church of Christ wrote this theological reflection on the Black Church several weeks ago, long before the Black Church and its pastors were publicly scrutinized in short and disrespectful sound bites by the news media. It deserves broader distribution and we thank Dr. Delk for her willingness to allow Justice and Witness Ministries to publish it as a Witness for Justice.
