The U.S. Department of Justice's Federal Bureau of Investigation St. Louis Field Office issued the following press release:
John V. Gillies, Special Agent in Charge, St. Louis Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced that a bank robber targeting banks in the St. Louis area, known as the "Boonie Hat Bandit", is now believed to be responsible for ten bank robberies.
The "Bandit" is believed to have robbed the Bank of America, 1555 Jungermann Road, St. Peters, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 10, 2008. The "Bandit" was seen fleeing the scene in a white, late 1990s model Pontiac Grand ...
