The city of Pasadena issued the following news release:

Residents in or near Pasadena will have the opportunity to dispose of hazardous waste and electronic waste safely, conveniently and free of charge at the Household Hazardous and E-Waste Roundup on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Parking Lot K near the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Household hazardous waste includes fluorescent light bulbs, mercury thermostats, household and car batteries, motor oil, paint, turpentine, acid or lye-based cleaners, pesticides and garden herbicides, all of which can damage the environment if tossed in the regular trash or poured down a sink or storm drain.
