Federal officials began investigating the crash of a mail-loaded plane into a warehouse in the Heights early Friday. Meanwhile, co-workers of the man killed in the wreck mourned the loss of Alpine Air's chief pilot.
Alpine Air Express Inc., of Provo, Utah, which owned the aircraft, identified the pilot as Kelly William Lynch, 40, of Billings. Lynch was alone when the 1900 Beechcraft crashed into the warehouse on Jerrie Lane.
