The Indiana Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
Spring Mill State Park is offering a soap-making workshop Thursday, June 26 at 1 p.m. Participants will get to explore the different types of soaps, including techniques used by the pioneers in making lye soap from scratch.
Participants will make two full-sized bars of glycerin soap and receive recipes for making other types of soap and a full-sized bar of lye soap from the Pioneer Village Mercantile.
The workshop is $10 per person ...
