VELCRO(R) brand products are as ubiquitous as shoestring, but the hook and loop fastening system is found on much more than shoes. In fact, it may help light up people's futures.

Velcro USA Inc., headquartered in Manchester, is developing a conductive material that could allow lights is to be moved around without any wires. The innovative technology has caught the eye of the Disney Corporation, which is displaying it at Epcot's Innovation pavilion in Florida. The display has walls made of conductive VELCRO(R) material and lights without wires that turn on when attached to the wall and turn off when removed.
