An experienced public and school librarian and creator of several storytime books and library games, Diane Briggs has compiled in this softcover book her most successful program plans. Organized by theme, each program suggests books, fingerplays, poetry, dramatic play, puppet plays, music, crafts and flannelboard activities. Many of the latter include the text of a traditional story, or a book reference with notes, and several include a fairly complex poem that might be hard to memorize.
